Testimonials
I just wanted to let you know I have been appointed as a Police Recruit of the Queensland Police Service for the October intake.
I’m so happy and wanted to thank you both for all your support, guidance and dedication over this journey it has and will change my life.
The speedy responses and help, the study guidance, and the hours on the phone. I never expected to get this level of support and thankyou both so so much for your time.
I feel like I have really achieved something I can be proud of and am looking forward to finally having a career instead of just a job.
Some of the things I have learned from you guys will be with me for life and I thankyou for that.
I never thought I would be able to work full time and still study but your course made it work for me and your dedication is second to none.
I would highly recommend your course to anyone who is interested in becoming a Police Officer.
Thanks Again and keep up the good work you are both an inspiration to us all.

'There are alot of people that have done your course in the academy at the moment. The more I am talking to people from the other intakes the more I am seeing that there are heaps of people you have helped get here. And the best thing is they speak really highly of the course. yourself and Kate.
Thanks again for preparing us all so well.'

Allen, I hope you and Kate realise the impact your dedication has on your students. I am so excited about the possibilities of becoming a Queensland Police Officer. Cannot thankyou enough!

The first time I ever checked the QPS website out, I never believed for even a moment that I was capable of achieving the requirements to get in, let alone complete the 30 week course - and I’m not kidding.
When I first decided to do the Justice and Law Administration course, my main concern was to ‘not waste my money’! As I progressed through the course I realised that even if I didn’t become a Police Officer, I had grown significantly in that I had the confidence to pursue something else. This was extremely important as I had spent the most part of the last 15yrs barefoot and pregnant - literally … I had five children aged 5 to 14yrs! So I had lost a large part of who I was and what I was capable of. The course allowed me to take baby steps - learning to use the computer, researching, putting words together and essay writing. The course was user friendly and convenient, with all the necessary support (and patience) even for an amateur like me! Toward the end of the application process, my self confidence had grown and I was so well prepared for the final interview that I breezed through, even believing that the QPS would be lucky to have me - what a complete turn around that was!
When I was accepted as a police recruit, my journey through the academy was never alone. I had the enduring support of my very proud family and friends, as well as a wealth of knowledge and experience from College for Law and Justice Administration - which I could draw on at any time. I believe the course prepared me mentally, emotionally and physically, which facilitated a positive and rewarding outcome for both me and my beautiful family.

When I realised I didnt meet the QPS education requirements panic set in. I thought I was going to have to leave work to study fulltime. As a single woman with no outside support this was a scary thought.
When I heard about the College for Law and Justice Administration it was perfect. I could continue working while attending Saturday workshops over a 10 week period plus studying in my own time.
The workshops are a great opportunity to meet people with the same goal of getting into the police service and helping each other out along the way.
The knowledge and confidence I gained from this course was fantastic.
The teachers are awesome. They offer 7 day a week support, they were always happy to help and their support still continues now that the application process is over.
As a female wanting to get into the QPS I highly recommend the College for Law and Justice Administration. The flexible study options and payment plans means we can be out there achieving our dreams in no time. They prepare you for life in the academy and are with you every step of the way.
I have now successfully completed the QPS selection process and will be entering the police academy shortly.

I think the fact that your college is offering this course, is just brilliant news for someone like me, who has the work experience under her belt but just needs to fulfil the 'QPS' requirements and complete the study, first aid & swimming components.......your college has again exceeded that by offering more training with health, psychometric assessments and the interview process - sorry to go on & on, but I feel it very important that you understand how wonderful I think this is - so thank you so much.

When I studied at the College I was extremely happy with the course structure and online support. I had spent some time looking for a course that would bring my education to a level accepted by the Qld police recruitment as this was the career path for me. I needed a course that was flexible and worked within my busy schedule.
The College of Law and Justice Administration offers a course specifically designed to help and assist those people that wish to obtain employment into the Qld police force. I found the course so valuable as it covers all aspects of policing life with many added bonuses not offered in any other course. The level of support is the best I have experienced in a study environment and the on line management system makes life and study easy and user friendly even if you are not computer savy.
I must also say a big thankyou to Allen Williams who is not only the director of the College of Law and Justice Administration but is also our teacher. Allen is always available to offer assistance 7 days.
Allen has done a remarkable job in helping assist future police applicants by creating a course that provided an average person like myself the opportunity to enter the Queensland Police Service and any other police forces throughout the country.
I have now achieved my dream!

I started my Diploma of Justice Administration with another training
provider, but when I wasn’t satisfied with the overall delivery of the
course, I had no hesitation in enrol with the College for Law and Justice Administration. They offer much more than just a qualification. My knowledge and confidence have increased, and as a result, I now have aspirations for higher achievement.
The College is designed to allow students to study without any interruption to their work or other commitments. I wasn’t restricted to timetables that clashed with my other activities, and any time we did meet up we were able to set a time that suited everyone.
The friendly and supportive staff continually live up to and beyond my expectations by providing genuine support and guidance in conjunction with prompt inquiry and assessment feedback.
With my admiration of the hard working staff and the quality of learning, it is hard not to preach the many benefits of studying with the College. If you are looking to join the Queensland Police Service, or even just wanting to challenge yourself with some personal growth, I strongly suggest you don’t let this opportunity slip by!
